Overall great Fridge
I like most all of the features, size for smaller space, yet has decent space for storage. The only thing I would recommend is more shelf rack notches so shelf could be placed at different levels than currently.

Perfect fridge for our family!
We had problems finding a refrigerator that would fit in our kitchen. This one fit and had everything we wanted - ice and water dispenser, glass shelves, easily accessible water filter, etc. Plus it LOOKS great! Love it!

The fridge is super quiet!
We got a great deal on it from a big box store and it has every feature that we wanted. The ice maker / water in the door is great and everything is solid. It keeps it's temp well and everything works as advertised! I would buy again for sure!

We purchased the LG23924ST side-by-side refrigerator because it fit our space and complimented the other appliances we were puchasing to update our kitchen. For the most part, we are very happy with this appliance. It is quiet, easy to clean and attractive, but we did have to deal with and accept some issues first.
Issue 1: We understood this appliance would qualify for a $75 rebate from PG&E. It doesn't.
Issue 2: We have always kept our milk on an inside shelf and the LG manual for this appliance states that is the best place for milk, however, if you drop the top shelf down far enough to accommodate the milk and other tall items, the shelf placement possibilities are such that you either have to eliminate a shelf or crisper (who wants to do that) or create a very minimal space shelf. We opted for the latter, which was quite unsettling UNTIL we got used to it. Now we like having the tiny-space shelf for those itty-bitty things that sometimes don't seem to have a suitable home (e.g. tiny cups of yogurt, butter cubes). We keep an 18-egg carton of eggs in our dairy compartment in the door. And it all works well for us.
Issue 3: The icemaker display panel is not user friendly and is difficult to see. We now have it memorized.
Issue 4: This was the biggee, but it worked out great eventually. Within a few days of installation, our icemaker stopped dispensing ice cubes. We could only get water and crushed ice. The serviceman came out and put the auger back in place. A few days later, it had slipped again and now would not stay put. The serviceman returned and agreed with us, it was never going to stay in place. So he anchored it in place with a couple of stainless steel screws. It works great now and that auger isn't going anywhere it shouldn't. LG, you might want to anchor your auger better.
So, yes, we had some "settling in" pains, but now that we have worked things out, we love our LG refrigerator. It's great that LG wants to hear our thoughts about possible improvements. I'm sure their next generation of appliances will have more user friendly icemaker panels and hopefully more secure auger assemblies. Might add another shelving slot midway down the interior for those who do not want a minimal space shelf, but do want to keep their milk/tall items on an interior shelf as LG recommends (or you could lower the top slot about an inch).
