My LSC27910SB keeps popping my GFI. What might be causing this?

I plug my fridge into an outlet that is connected to a GFI and the fridge will start making some start up clicking noises, but after 10 seconds the GFI trips. What can I do to solve this.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this refrigerator. The description given suggests that either this refrigerator is not on a dedicated circuit, as recommended in the installation guide, or it does not have sufficient amperage available to start the operations of the compressor, although enough to keep it running. This description suggests that the Ground Fault Interrupter is not providing sufficient STARTING AMPERAGE for the compressor, which causes the trip when the refrigerator trys to start the cooling cycle. The refrigerator should always be plugged into its own individual, properly grounded electrical outlet rated for 115V at 60Hz and fused at a minimum of 15 amperes. It is recommended that a separate circuit, serving only this appliance, be provided.
