Answer:
The error message ER FF is a Freezer Fan Error message. This can be caused by the fan motor failing, or it could be a frost/ice build up around the fan blades preventing it from running properly. This error can be resolved by unplugging the refrigerator for about 4 hours, allowing it to thaw. Once the moisture is dried up, reconnect the unit and allow it to fully cool before returning the contents. If the error message returns, then the unit will likely require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

Not dispensing ice OR water (LSC27926SB)

The ice dispensing auger in my LSC27926SB side-by-side refrigerator was jammed, and when I tried to dispense ice, the solenoid which controls whether ice is cubed or crushed (part 6421JA3001Y) "exploded". I had to remove the solenoid because of the odor it produced in the freezer and refrigerator. I want to replace this solenoid, but I believe that something else is also malfunctioning because the dispenser no longer dispenses water nor does the light inside the dispenser light when the dispenser switch is pressed. I would appreciate any advice on what could be causing this.
