What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sick The increased capacity was achieved by deepening the unit. If you have something on the lower shelf, you almost have to sit down in the floor to reach the back. The doors are hard to open and then when the frig door shuts, the freezer door pops open slightly. Must watch. Had to remove one shelf to allow for tall items to fit. Shelves are full width, no half shelves for the taller items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality work!! Recently brought this item at a reasonable price. Got it home and plugged it up. It purr like a kitty. I've used this type of frig before and last me 9 years. So, it a product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love just about everything about this product I'm very happy with this product. Love the lighting and the fact that large milk containers fit in the door. The only thing I would change is either having the refrigerator door shelves adjustable or having more space between the bottom door shelve and the next one up. The closeness makes it hard to tip out a full gallon of milk, however that is not a big enough issue for me to prevent me from giving it an excellent rating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stainless is hard to keep clean The stainless steel is hard to keep clean. I don't like not having door handles. It makes other touch the stainless part of the door. How many refrigerators do you see without door handles. The ice maker make plenty of ice for four adults. Te shelf's are spaced a little weird. A pitcher of ice tea and a 2 liter bottle just fits on the sides. Nice other than that. I would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely happy with purchase. This was a very reasonably priced refrigerator, with an excellent ice maker. The freezer space is bigger than what the specs would indicate, as the ice maker doesn't take up much space and the shelves are arranged well. Lighting is excellent in fridge and freezer. I like the functionality of the meat drawer in the middle of the fridge. Highly recommend this Energy Star fridge.

Direct to some information about leveling the refrigerator please.

Asked by: Charlie3
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator and its features. The leveling of the cabinet is performed by the same steps provided, on page 12 of the owner’s manual, relating to Door Alignment. If necessary, adjust the Leveling Legs to compensate for unevenness of the floor. A diagram is provided to show how this is done.

ice maker lights

you stated in earlier answer that the lights indicate size setting. Is the size adjustable? if only indicator of valve opening what does that truly mean to me?

How to keep the freezer shut?

How do you keep the freezer door shut as it keeps bouncing open when the lower door is closed?
Asked by: maestro141
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this refrigerator. The impact of the air pressure inside the refrigerator, when the door closes can rush back into the freezer compartment, can cause the freezer door to open. This has been known to occur with most, if not all refrigerator manufacturers. The pressure in the door seal can be related directly to the difference between the air temperature inside the compartment, and outside it.

I am looking for a good-quality, but quiet, apartment-sized fridge. LG white, top freezer, LTC20380SW

Yes, the fridge is very quiet. I never hear it except when it makes ice and drops the ice in the bucket.

how do you set the humidity for the two bottom bins

explain please how to set the two humidity bars
Asked by: nanken
It would seem that the humidity controls, for the crisper bins of the refrigerator, are adjusted simply by sliding the adjuster bar. The VEGETABLE setting is narrower, retaining more of the humidity insider the compartment. The FRUIT setting is more open, allowing more of the humidity to escape. The controls can also be set to many variations in between these settings.

What is the Max coldness in the frig set on 3-5 levels

My unit set on 3 = 38-40 deg, set on highest level @ 5 = 36-40 deg not much deference. Also I do not feel any air blowing out from the vents from freezer or frig, is this normal ? This is the 2nd frig in a month I returned the first frig due to it not cooling at all. I just purchased this model because of the revues this model had. Thanks Robert
Asked by: AzRobert
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this refrigerator and its settings. If both settings are on their MAXIMUM COLDNESS level, and no air flow is experienced, then it is likely that there is some buildup or blockage in the air duct, potentially caused by freezing or icing the the duct. It is recommended to deactivate the refrigerator, and allow it to remain inactive for about 4 hours. Clean up any water/melt from the unit before reactivating the device. Set the controls to their middle settings for about 24 hours to reach the initial operating conditions. If the unit still does not operate properly, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at
