What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice refrigerator Loved the handleless doors. Fits in the space I have very well next to a wall. The only complaint I have is the lighting is not what I was used to. I was used to lighting in a refrigerator that was 20 years old. I'll get used to it soon. So far the cooling is perfect in refrigerator and the freezer is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old School Layout, Excellent Fridge! This fridge replaced a 15-yr french door model. My wife and I realized we didn't use most of the features of the french door model, so we went back to the future and got a straightforward, old school top freezer model. Works great! Full width pantry shelf is great, especially since it's clear. Ice maker is a little loud for the few seconds when refilling the water reservoir, but only lasts a few seconds. Overall, very happy with this unit!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good refrigerator, but could be improved This is a good refrigerator: it keeps things cold, is quiet, and looks good. The freezer compartment is somewhat smaller than the one in my old fridge and the main compartment is somewhat bigger, especially the drawers for fruits and vegetables, which are ample. The lower door will not stand open unless at its widest position, and swings shut forcefully enough to rattle the bottles in the door racks, which is not true of the freezer door. I would like to have shelves that roll out to allow easy access to items in the back, and a roll-out basket in the freezer for the same reason. But all in all, I like it and expect to get years of use from it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Energy savings We love our new LG refrigerator. The design is nice and it keeps food at a proper temperature. But, the main reason we purchased it is because it uses 1/2 the energy as our old one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Refrigerator I've had it three weeks and it is working great. Was limited on height so it is as big as I could use. Love the new lighting and when I am fully acclimated to the new shelf placements, I am sure I will love it more!

Is it bad if I place a large microwave on top of the fridge? Like will the heat affect the fridge or the weight of it ?

Asked by: EzmeM
Please keep the refrigerator at an adequate distance from other objects. Insufficient spacing can reduce the refrigerator’s freezing efficiency and increase electricity consumption. ^CP

Why does the food in the freezer develop frost inside of the packaging?

Asked by: Evalucho
. Frost appears inside of packaging when moisture from the food is drawn to the surface and freezes within the packaging itself.

I am thinking about buying the LTCS20220w refrigerator as a second refrigerator. Will the unit operate normally if the ice maker is completely removed?

We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. The ice maker is not designed to be removed from the unit. Do so would void the 1 year manufacturers' warranty.

Why is ice maker slow?

Asked by: Wsws
There are multiple factors that can cause reduced ice production. Ensure the temperature for the freezer compartment is 0°F. If the freezer temperature is warmer, ice production will be affected. If this not the case, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for further assistance.

My ice cream is soft. What number should the freezer be on?

Asked by: Muffy
It is recommended that, when the unit is first installed, the freezer temperature should be set to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, while the refrigerator should be set to 37 degrees. Once the unit reaches these temperatures, you may change the setting to however you would prefer.
