Fits the bill:-)
Just moved into a small condo needed to replace what was there - size and color was important. Was looking for LG brand. Really liked the style - non handles. Like the LED lights however disappointed did not have more lights either on top or in the rear. Bought the unit at Lowe's as non stock item & out of the carton - deep discounted. Have had it for only several days - will update in a few months.

New Refrigerator
We have had the refrigerator for just a few weeks but we really like it. It looks nice and fits the spot perfectly. It warns when the door is open to long and has a reader on top that allows a repairmen to analyze problems.

My favorite appliance!
I originally bought this because of the height requirement in my kitchen - bought it online - store had none on display. When it came to the house, the delivery guy wanted one! It's beautiful, has amazing amount of space and plenty of lights inside - is so quiet I thought it wasn't working! Have had it almost a year now and I just love it! I'm sold on LG!

Great price
We we're looking for a cheaper fridge for an addition and we could only find small ones 15-17 cubic ft. We found this one at 20 cubic ft for less money. AND it came with an ice maker, that many of the others didn't have.

Great features
The refrigerator has many great features. The interior lights, no actual door handles. The only thing we don't like is the doors don't stay open. The swing back at your and close hard.

Needs combo AFCI to work
Brand new, I plugged it in and it repeatedly tripped the GFI breaker. LG sent a service technician out and LG tech support told him it needs a combo AFCI breaker to work. It doesn't say this anywhere in the LG specs. Now I need to pay an electrician to swap the GFI for a combo AFCI. Once that is done, we will see if the refrigerator actually works. If combo AFCI is required, it should say so in the LG specifications.

My ice cream is soft. What number should the freezer be on?
It is recommended that, when the unit is first installed, the freezer temperature should be set to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, while the refrigerator should be set to 37 degrees. Once the unit reaches these temperatures, you may change the setting to however you would prefer.

My current (21-year-old) refrigerator has adjustable shelves on the door. This feature is important for me for a new fridge. Does this LG model have adjustable door shelves?

New ltcs20220 3/17/2017. It's been run for ~ 5 hours and the refrigerator section is sitll above 45 degrees. Very little air flow from the refrigerator vents; novents are obstructed. My guess is that the vent door to the refrigerator isn't open. Advice? T
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this air conditioner. It is stated that none of the refrigerator vents are obstructed. It is suggested to check the vents in the FREEZER compartment, as cold air will flow from the freezer to the refrigerator. If this does not resolve the matter, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to further troubleshoot the matter.

Can I buy this but not hook up water line to the ice maker? Can the ice maker be removed?
The Factory Installed Automatic Ice Maker in the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 20 cu. ft Large Capcity 30" Wide Top Freezer Refrigerator w/Ice Maker, Model # LTCS20220S has an On/Off switch. If you do not have a water line attached to the refrigerator and do not intend to use the Ice Maker, be sure to turn the Ice Maker off before turning the the refrigerator on...^IFV

How do I get the ice maker to work after turning it on and plugging the water tube in

Where is the water filter located for the ice maker
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. This model does not appear to have a water filter integrated into the cabinet. The only filter available on this model would have to be installed on the water line before it connects to the refrigerator’s water valve.

Does the bar on the ice maker need to be up or down to work
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. It appears that this particular design is supposed to operate when the sensor bar is in its downward position.
