CONTROL PANEL OVERVIEW

Get to know your range's control panel. (Please note that features and appearance may vary from your model.)

SINGLE OVEN

CONTROL PANEL – SINGLE OVEN
COOKTOP ELEMENT CONTROLS

LEFT REAR ELEMENT INDICATOR (Single element)

WARNING ZONE ELEMENT INDICATOR

RIGHT REAR ELEMENT INDICATOR (Single element)

LEFT FRONT ELEMENT INDICATOR (Double element)

RIGHT FRONT ELEMENT INDICATOR (Double element)

SELECT INDICATOR Use to select single or double elements.

HOT SURFACE INDICATOR: Displayed until the surface has cooled to approximately 150°F (66°C), or when the self clean cycle ends.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Each time a pad is pressed a beep will sound.
  • The power level decreases or increases by 0.5 from 9.0 through 3.0 (by 0.2 from 3.0 through 1.0). Lo is the lowest power level available.
  • To scroll through the power levels quickly press and hold the – or + key pads until the power level desired is reached.
COOKTOP ELEMENT CONTROLS

To control a Single or Dual Element:

  1. Press ON/OFF for the desired element position. The display will flash --. (If no further pads are pressed within 10 seconds, the display will disappear.)
  2. Press SELECT for double or single element function. The first touch selects the inner element. The second touch selects both the inner and outer elements. The light bars above SELECT indicate single or double elements.
  3. Press + or – to choose the desired power setting.
COOKTOP ELEMENT CONTROLS

To control Warming Zone: (Center)

  1. Press ON/OFF at the warming zone control position. The warming zone indicator light will flash.
  2. Press + once to activate the HI power level or – to activate the Lo power level. Use the – / + to choose the desired power setting.
  3. To turn off the unit when the food is ready to serve, press ON/OFF once.
OVEN CONTROLS

START: Must be pressed to start any cooking or cleaning function.

CLEAR OFF: Press to cancel all upper oven operations except the clock and timer.

OVEN LIGHT: Press to turn the oven light on or off.

OVEN CONTROLS

CONV.BAKE: Press to select baking with the convection function.

CONV.ROAST: Press to select roasting with the convection function.

BAKE: Press to select the bake function.

BROIL: Press to select the speed broil function.

WARM/OPTIONS: Press to warm food in the oven. Press and hold for 3 seconds to change the special settings. NOTE: Special settings may be used only if no other function (Bake, Broil, Timed Bake, etc.) of the control panel is in use.

PROOF: Press to maintain a warm oven for rising yeast leavened products before baking.

FAVORITE : Press to record, store and recall up to three favorite combinations of temperature and operating mode.

SELF CLEAN: Press to select Self-Cleaning function. See "Using The Self-Cleaning Oven" in the user manual.

CLOCK AND TIMER FEATURES

CLOCK: Press before setting the time of day.

COOK TIME: Press, then use the + and - pads to set the amount of time you want your food to cook. The oven will shut off when the cooking time has run out.

START TIME: Use along with Bake, Cook Time, and Self Clean pads to set the oven to start and stop automatically at a time you set.

TIMER ON/OFF: Press to select or cancel the timer feature.

+/-: Use to change time, oven temperature. Sets HI or LO broil.

NUMBER PAD: Use to adjust any function requiring specific input such as the clock, timer, or temperatures.

RANGE DISPLAY

DISPLAY: Shows the time of day, oven temperature, whether the oven is in the bake, broil or self-cleaning mode, and the times set for the timer or automatic oven operations.
