Calibrating and Using Picture Wizard

Why do you need to calibrate your picture?
TVs need to stand out in bright retail environments,
so the picture settings that your TV comes with are
not necessarily the right ones for your home.

Each living room, den and kitchen has different lighting, so
it's best to customize your settings. Thankfully, our Picture
Wizard function makes this as easy as possible.

Using Picture Wizard

Picture Wizard was developed to give you a simple, step-by-step way to find the right picture settings for your home environment.

Step 1.

You want to start with a clean slate, so the first thing you need to do is a Picture Reset.
To do that, you select MENU, then PICTURE, and then select PICTURE RESET. When prompted, select YES.

Step 2.

Next you will want to begin calibrating using Picture Wizard.

Select MENU, then PICTURE, and then select PICTURE WIZARD.

Step 3.

You will now be guided through a series of adjustments using simple images and diagrams for reference. This should take some of the guesswork out of the process and give you a better idea of what changes are needed. There are around 14 steps, but it should go quickly and easily.

Step 4.

When you've completed your adjustments, make sure to press ENTER to save your changes. Otherwise, they'll be lost and you will have to start over. Also, once Picture Wizard has been used, ENERGY SAVING will be set to OFF. If you need to reset any of the changes you made or want to start over, go back and select PICTURE RESET.
