Cleaning the cover glass

Clean Cover Glass To remove dust or stains on the cover glass, use a can of compressed air or use a soft cloth to wipe the glass gently. It's important that you DO NOT spray water directly to the product when cleaning.

Cleaning the laser display case

Laser Case To clean the case of your Laser TV, first unplug the power cord. To remove dust or stains, use only a dry, lint-free, soft cloth to polish the lens. DO NOT use alcohol, benzene, thinners or other chemicals, which may damage the case.

Note: To access the lens:
  • Ensure unit is cool.
  • Power unit on.
  • Unplug unit from power outlet without turning unit off.
  • Clean lens as previously instructed.
  • Plug unit back in.
  • Power up unit - Do not look into lens, as eye damage could result.

Cleaning the internal parts

Once a year, you should contact your seller or the LG Priority Support Team at 1-800-243-0000 to clean the internal parts of your Laser TV. If you do not clean the Laser TV for a long period of time, dust will accumulate, which may cause fire or damage to the product.

Securing your Laser TV

Keeping your LG Laser TV in a fixed position is critical to keeping its picture displaying correctly. To help keep your Laser TV from being jostled, it comes with two optional brackets to use. The EZ Bracket helps fix your Laser TV base to a table or media center and the Ceiling Bracket allows you to install the Laser TV upside down from your ceiling.

Locking your Laser TV

Laser Lock
Kensington Security System
As an added security measure, your LG Laser TV comes with an optional Kensington Security System cable that you can use to lock your TV to a surface, should it reside in a public area. The cable locks with a key.
