Your Laser TV actually comes with two LG remotes - a gesture-controlled Magic Remote and a Standard remote. Get to know some of the things each one can do and see which one you prefer to use.

Get To Know Your Magic Remote
MM Remote
  • Power - Turns unit On or Off.
  • Back - Press this button during menu selection to return to the previous step.
  • Wheel/OK - Scroll or press to select any item. To display the pointer on the screen, shake the Magic remote control to the left/right.
  • Volume - Adjust the sound level up or down.
  • Question Mark - Opens the self-diagnosis window.
  • Home - Press to access the LG Home dashboard. Or, hold it down to access your most recently used apps, as well as any notifications.
  • Navigation Arrows - Fast-track through menus and options.
  • Program - Changes the TV Channel.
  • My Apps/Q. Menu - Shows the list of Apps. / Accesses the Quick Menu.

Pairing Your Magic Remote
You must pair your Magic Remote with your Laser TV for it to work. Follow these instructions.

1. Turn on the Laser TV and press the Wheel (OK) button towards the Laser TV. When the pairing is complete, the pairing completion message is displayed on the Laser TV screen.

2. If the remote failed to pair, turn the Laser TV off and on and try pairing again by pressing the Wheel (OK) button.

Standard Remote

Your laser TV also comes with a standard remote. It can perform similar functions as the Magic Remote, just differently. Get to know some of its buttons and functions below.
Standard Remote


  • Power - Turns unit On or Off.
  • List - Access the saved channels list.
  • Fav - Access your favorite channel list.
  • Volume - Adjust the sound level up or down
  • Smart Home - Press to access the LG Smart Home dashboard. Or, hold it down to access your most recently used apps, as well as any notifications.
  • OK - Press to select any item.
  • Back - Takes you to the previous screen.






  • Flashbk - Feeling indecisive? Use this to alternate between the last two channels selected.
  • Channel - Changes the TV Channel.
  • Info - Want to know what you're watching? This displays the channel information at the bottom of the screen.
  • Mute - Kills sound until pressed again.
  • Navigation Arrows - Fast-track through menus and options.
  • AV Mode - Switch to Cinema/THX mode, Game mode, or Sport mode for ideal picture and sound settings.
  • Simplink - Access the AV devices connected to the TV and open the SIMPLINK menu.
