No Power - Front Load Washer

Troubleshooting Washers Last Updated 08/20/2015

When troubleshooting power issues on an LG Front Load Washer, the issue can sometimes be caused by a faulty wall outlet or a malfunction with the washer.


  1. Turn the circuit breaker to the washer OFF for 10 seconds and back ON.

  2. Once the circuit breaker to the washer is turned back ON, press the POWER button to turn the washer on. If the washer turns on, it is possible that the washer simply needed to be reset.

  1. Unplug the washing machine from the power outlet.

  2. Test the power outlet that the washer was plugged into by using another small electronic device such as a clock or radio.

  3. If the alternate device does not power on, contact an Electrician to correct the probelem with the power to the electrical outlet.

  4. If the alternate device powers on, plug the washer back into the outlet and press the POWER button. If the washer powers back on, it is possible that the unit simply needed to be reset.

  5. If the washer does not power back on, the washer will require repair service.
