AIR CONDITIONER CONTROLS – WINDOW A/C

Manual Controls

Digital Controls

Manual Controls

1. Power – Turns the air conditioner on and off.

2. Fan Speed – Use to set the fan speed to either LOW or HIGH.

3. Mode / Temp Control – Used to set the unit to either “Fan Only” or “Cool On”. Increasing to a higher number will raise the cooling effect.

For Normal Cooling:

1. Turn the operation switch to High Cool or Low Cool setting.

2. Set the THERMOSTAT control to the desired temperature mark. “5” (the midpoint) is a good starting position. If the room temperature still remains too warm, raise the setting to a higher number to increase active cooling.

For Maximum Cooling

1. Turn the OPERATION switch to the High Cool setting.

2. Set the THERMOSTAT control to the highest temperature mark (9).

For Quieter Operation

1. Turn the OPERATION switch to the Low Cool setting.

2. Set the THERMOSTAT control as needed.

Digital Controls

1. Temperature Setting – The up and down arrow keys will raise or lower the temperature setting. They can be set within a range of 60°F and 86°F in 1°F increments.

2. Energy Saver – The fan stops when the compressor stops cooling. Approximately every 3 minutes the fan will turn on and check the room air to determine if cooling is needed.

3. Fan/Cool/Dry – Fan mode allows the unit to run in fan only. Cool mode allows both the fan and compressor to run to actively cool the room. Dry mode causes the air conditioner to act somewhat like a dehumidifier to make the room environment more comfortable.

4. On/Off Timer – Each press of this button cycles through the options of how long the time can run (1-12 hours, and cancel).

5. Fan Speed – Toggles the fan speed between “LOW” and “HI”.

6. Power – Toggles the power “On” and “Off”.

1. Power – Toggles the power “On” and “Off”.

2. Fan Speed Selector – Allows you to choose between low, medium, or high. This should be indicated to the left of the temperature setting.

3. On/Off Timer – Each press of this button cycles through the options of how long the time can run (1-12 hours, and cancel).

4. Operation Mode Selector – Allows you to choose between Cool, Fan, Dry, and Energy Saver mode.

5. Temperature Control – The up and down arrow keys will raise or lower the temperature setting. They can be set within a range of 60°F and 86°F in 1°F increments.
