The Magic Remote Control operates like a computer mouse. Just point, click, scroll and control. With simple movements and gestures, you can drag, flick, and select your preferences, without the hassle of using multiple buttons and arrow keys.

Get To Know Your Magic Remote

  • Back - Press this button during menu selection to return to the previous step.
  • Wheel/OK - Scroll or press to select any item. To display the pointer on the screen, shake the Magic remote control to the left/right.
  • 3D Button - Activates 2D-to-3D conversion mode and other 3D options.
  • Volume - Adjust the sound level up or down.
  • Mute - Mutes the Audio until selected again.
  • Power - Turns unit On or Off.
  • Navigation Arrows - Fast-track through menus and options.
  • Smart - Press to access the LG Smart Home dashboard. Or, hold it down to access your most recently used apps, as well as any notifications.
  • 1/2/3/Q. Menu - Accesses the Universal Control. Accesses the Quick Menu.
  • Channel - Changes the TV Channel.

Pairing Your Magic Remote

You must pair your Magic Remote with your Smart 3D TV for it to work. Follow these instructions.

1. Turn on the Smart 3D TV and press the Wheel (OK) button towards the Smart 3D TV. When the pairing is complete, the pairing completion message is displayed on the Smart 3D TV screen.

2. If the remote failed to pair, turn the Smart 3D TV off and on and try pairing again by pressing the Wheel (OK) button.
