Unboxing Your Large Screen TV - TV

Follow the simple steps to unbox your new LG TV. Always use caution not to damage the TV front panel.

Cut the packing straps, then open the top of the box and remove the packing material, stand/feet, and the accessory bag (manual, remote, etc.).
Using the handles on either side of the box, lift straight up (leaving the TV in-place and upright on the ground).
Lift from the bottom of the packaging, keeping one hand near the top of the TV for balance and support.

Caution: Do not reach into the packaging to lift the TV out of it, and be careful not to apply pressure to the front panel.

Carefully lay the TV flat, screen down, on a large, non-abrasive surface. Place as much of the TV as possible on the surface, leaving the bottom packaging hanging over the edge.
Remove the bottom packaging.

Note: For Curved OLED models, leave the curved styrofoam in place until the stand is attached.

Remove the vinyl cover, tearing from the bottom of the TV toward the top.
Attach the stand/feet (depending on model). Consult the owner's manual for instructions pertaining to your specific model.

Caution: Do not over-tighten the stand screws.

Once the stand/feet are firmly attached, carefully lift the TV upright and place it in its' final location.

Caution: Do not apply pressure to the front panel. Place your hand firmly on the side for balance and support, but don't squeeze or press on the screen.
