Bluetooth Settings - Chromebase

Your LG Chromebase comes with Bluetooth® functionality built-in. For information about adding a Bluetooth device or disabling/managing Bluetooth devices, read on.

Note: Some Bluetooth devices may not be compatible. This function is intended for peripheral devices including, but not limited to, mice, keyboards, and headsets.


To Add a Device:
  1. First, enable Bluetooth® on the device you want to pair with your Chromebase. This process varies by device; consult the documentation for the device or contact its' manufacturer.

  2. Click on the status area  in the lower right corner of the desktop.

  3. Click on the Bluetooth list item. It may say enabled or disabled based on its' current state.

     

  4. Click Enable Bluetooth.

     

  5. Click on the Bluetooth device you wish to pair with.

     

  6. Make sure the security code displayed on each device matches, then accept the pairing.

  7. A notification will appear when pairing is successful.

To Quickly Disable Bluetooth:
  1. Click on the status area  in the lower right corner of the desktop.

  2. Click on the Bluetooth list item.

     

  3. Click the Bluetooth  icon.

     

To Manage Bluetooth Devices:
  1. Click on the status area  in the lower right corner of the desktop.

  2. Click on the Bluetooth list item.

     

  3. Click Manage Devices.

     

  4. From here you can remove a paired Bluetooth device from memory (1), enable/disable Bluetooth (2), add a new Bluetooth device (3), or connect to paired device (4).
