Premium Apps Missing - Netcast / webOS

Troubleshooting TVs Last Updated 06/01/2016

Cause

If the country setting on your smart TV is set to other countries, premium content is not available.

This may also happen if you use a proxy located outside of the US.


Symptom

Premium card or Apps is not seen from Home screen or Launcher bar.

※ You Tube, NetflixHulu, etc.

In country settings or auto setting for service country “United States” is set automatically based on your ZIP code, but it may be set to “other countries” when using a router.

For this case, select the country manually.


 How to fix 

- 2012 model :  [Home]→ [Setting menu] →  [General] → [Smart TV setting] → [Smart TV country]

When choosing a country, TV premium service of relevant country is provided.


- 2011 model
: [Home] → [Detail setting] → [Network] → [Smart TV setting] → [Country setting]

When choosing a country, TV premium service of relevant country is provided.

 


2012~2013 smart TV

Remote control [Home] or [Smart] [Setting][General][Smart TV setting][Service country auto setting]

※ After auto setting, Korea(auto) is not selected, set to Korea manually.


After 2014 webOS TV

[Home][Setting][General][Location][Service country auto setting]

※ If LG service country is not Korea, uncheck the box and select Korea.
