If the ice bucket is not used for a long time, the ice can become stuck together and the bin can become hard to remove. This is normally a cause of ice buildup overtime and can normally be resolved with maintenance.

Gently Tap the Ice Bin
Tap the ice bin gently with the heel of your palm in order to break clumped ice apart so that the bucket can be removed.

Remove the Ice Bin
Lift up on the bucket and then pull it out toward you.
Shake the ice bin to separate the ice cubes, if stuck together.
If the ice does not separate after shaking the ice bin, dispose of the ice, and clean the bin before reinstalling. -
Remove the Ice Bin
Check the area for frost or ice fragments that may have built up. Take a damp cloth and clean out all ice fragments, reinstall the ice bucket
