LG G PAD 8.3 LTE VK810 QPAIR

By connecting your tablet and mobile phone via QPair, you can sync incoming calls, messages, and social networking notifications between your tablet and mobile phone.


Setup QPair
QPair Features


Setup QPair

1.

From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair


2.

Tap Initial Setup, and tap OK after reading the notification prompt.


3.

Tap Start on your tablet first, and then run the same steps on your mobile phone.


Note:

QPair may not be pre-installed on your phone. Go to the Google Play Store, search for QPair for Verizon Wireless, and install it.

QPair works with phones running Android 4.1 or later. Some features may be limited depending on your phone model.


4.

Bluetooth connection will be turned on automatically.

QPair Features

Call Notification


Sends the tablet a notification when the phone receives a call. The notification displays the caller's number and allows you to decline the call.


1.

From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap Call notification.


2.

Tap the switch to enable.


3.

An incoming call notification will display when there is an incoming call on your QPaired phone.


4.

Tap Decline to reject the call or tap Ignore with a message to decline the call with a preset message.


5.

You can also customize your Ringtone, Ringtone volume, Ringtone with vibration and Decline with message.


Message Notification


Sends the tablet a notification when the phone receives a message.


1.

From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap Message notification.


2.

Tap the switch to enable.


3.

A message notification will display when a new message is received on your QPaired phone. The notification will display the sender's number, message body and received time. If you have the contact's number stored as a contact in your phone, the G Pad will display the contact's name. A notification will also display in the Notification panel.


4.

Tap Tap to reply box to compose a message, then tap Send to reply. The maximum number of characters that can be entered varies by carrier.


5.

After a reply is sent, the notification will disappear.


Note:

When multiple messages arrive on your phone, your G Pad will display the most recent message in the notification. You can scroll the notification to the right to view the next recent message and left to recent messages.

When a MMS arrives on your phone, Tap to reply field will not be available. G Pad will only display Multimedia message received. Check it on your phone.


Social Network Notification


Displays a social networking notification on your tablet's Status Bar when it arrives on your phone.


1.

From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap Social network notification.


2.

Tap the switch to enable.


Note:

To enable this feature, turn on the QPair Sns Notification option on your phone.

From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings   > Accessibility   > QPair social network notification and tap the switch   to enable.

This allows you to be notified of social networking notifications on your tablet.


QuickMemo Transfer


Saves your current QuickMemo in the tablet's Gallery, and then syncs the tablet's Gallery with the Gallery on your phone.


1.

From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap QuickMemo transfer.


2.

Tap the switch to enable.


3.

Create a QuickMemo with your G Pad and save it in your G Pad Gallery. The saved QuickMemo will also be saved to your phone's Gallery.


Note:

QuickMemo can be shared between your tablet and mobile phone only when they are connected via QPair.

If QPair is disconnected while QuickMemo is being sent, the transfer is resumed upon reconnection of QPair.


Recent App Sticker


When the tablet screen is unlocked, a sticker will display the last app used on the phone. Tap the sticker to run the app. Make sure that the app is installed on the phone and tablet.


1.

From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > tap Recent app sticker.


2.

Tap the switch to enable.


3.

Using your phone, launch an app that is also installed on your G Pad (Gallery, Alarm, etc).


4.

Turn off your G Pad with Power/Lock key or Knock On, then turn your G Pad on with Power/Lock key or Knock On.


5.

Recent app sticker will display on the bottom right side of the screen.


Note:

Recent app sticker of an app that was used with G Pad will also display on QPaired phone.


QPair Notification


If you misplaced your G Pad or your paired Smartphone, you can use QPair Notification to locate your device. When selected, a notification will play and alert will sound.


Note:

The alert tone will sound even in silent mode.


1.

From the Home screen, tap Apps > QPair > then tap the QPair Notification button in the QPair app screen.


2.

When the device is found, you can tap Stop to end the notification.
