Notifications alert you to the arrival of new messages, calendar events, and alarms, as well as ongoing events, such as video downloads.

Notification Overview on LG G5
When a notification arrives, its icon appears at the top of the screen, open the Notification panel to view and interact.

To open the Notification panel, swipe down from the top of any screen.
How to edit the Notification panel

From any screen, swipe down from the top of the display to open the Notification panel.

Select the Notification panel settings icon (depending on your carrier the icon may be a Pen
or 3 circles
).

Press and hold an icon in the gray area and drag up to the white area. Remove your finger to place the icon. To remove, press and hold an icon in the white area and drag down to the gray section.
Note: Up to ten Quick Settings options are allowed at a given time.

In the lower section, place a checkmark
next to the item you want to display on the Notification panel (brightness, volume, etc.).
Note: QSlide Apps are no longer available from the Notification panel. To enable QSlide function you will need to open the respective app and place in QSlide mode.
