LG LUCID 2 VS870 BLUETOOTH BASICS

Bluetooth is an open wireless standard used to transfer data to and from your device. With Bluetooth you can listen to music with wireless headphones and transfer files to and from a compatible computer.


  1. From the Home Screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Bluetooth

  2. To switch Bluetooth on or off move the slider switch  to the On or Off position.

Tapping the checkbox  will make your phone visible to other bluetooth devices for 2 minutes by default.

  • Menu Key  > Rename phone: Rename you device, when finished tap Save.

  • Menu Key > Visibility timeout: Set how long your device remains visible to other bluetooth devices.

  • Menu Key > Show received files: List files received via bluetooth.

  • Menu Key > Device search option: Change the type of bluetooth device you can search for and add.

  • Menu Key > Help: Help articles to help you better understand and use bluetooth.

    1. From the Home Screen, tap Apps > Settings > Bluetooth

    2. Switch Bluetooth on by moving the slider switch to the On position.

    3. Set your Bluetooth headset to pairing mode; please refer to your headsets user guide (an example: holding down the power button on your headset until a solid blue LED is lit).

    4. A list of available devices will be shown, if your headset is not shown select Search for devices.

    5. Tap on your device from the list, if your device requires a pin code you will be prompted to enter it.

    6. After a successful connection, Connected will display next to your headset in the list. If both your phone and headset are on, they should auto-connect. If for some reason they do not, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and your headset is turned on and press the paired device name in the menu to connect.

    Note: To listen to music; your headset must support A2DP. Please refer to your headsets user guide.

    1. 1. From the Home Screen, tap Apps > Settings > Bluetooth

    2. Switch Bluetooth on by moving the slider switch to the On position.

    3. Tap the Gear icon next to your headset in the list.

    4. Select Unpair, your device will no longer connect to your headset until paired again.
