Power Saver helps to manage battery life. When the battery drops below a selected level, Power Saver disables or adjusts features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and screen brightness.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Battery  > Power saver

  2. Tap the switch  to enable Power saver. Your device will enter Power saver mode once it reaches the defined battery level.

    To change the battery level, tap Turn Power saver on and select from the available options.

  3. Add Power saver to quick settings in the notification panel for quick access.

Select features to turn off or to change value when battery drops below a certain level.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Battery  > Power saver

  2.  next to the features you would like to set. To adjust values, tap the Gear icon  .

    The following options are available:
  • Auto-sync - Turn off Auto-sync
  • Wi-Fi - Turn off Wi-Fi if data is not in use
  • Bluetooth - Turn off Bluetooth while not in use
  • Vibrate on touch - Turn off touch feedback
  • Brightness - Set screen brightness level
  • Screen timeout - Set your screen timeout
  • Front touch key light - Set your front touch key light to time out after a few seconds or to be always off
  • Home button LED - Turn off Home button LED

Display the battery percentage in the status bar and view what is consuming your battery.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Battery

  2. Place a checkmark  in Battery percentage. Your battery percentage is now on the status bar.

  3. Tap the battery icon  to view usage time and battery consumption by application or components.
