LG G2 VS980 BATTERY BASICS

Battery Saver helps to manage battery life. When the battery drops below a selected level, Battery Saver disables or adjusts features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and screen brightness.


  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Battery

  2. Tap the Battery saver switch  to enable Battery saver. Your device will enter Battery saver mode once it reaches the defined battery level (default is 30%).

    To change the battery level, tap Battery Saver >Turn Battery saver on and select from the available options.

    Note: Access the Battery saver from the quick settings bar in the notification panel for quick access.

Select features to turn off/on or to change value when the battery drops below a certain level.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Battery  > Battery Saver.

  2. Checkmark features to enable. To adjust values, tap the Gear icon  . The following options are available:

    • Auto-sync - turn off Auto sync
    • Wi-Fi - turn off Wi-Fi data while not in use
    • Bluetooth - turn off Bluetooth while not in use
    • Vibrate on touch - turn off touch feedback
    • Brightness - set screen brightness level
    • Screen timeout - set screen timeout
    • Notification light - turn off Notification light
  3. Tap the large battery located under BATTERY INFORMATION and scroll down to view usage time and battery consumption by application or components.

Display the battery percentage in the status bar and view what is consuming your battery.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Battery

  2. Checkmark Battery percentage on status bar to display the battery percentage on the status bar.

  3. Tap the large battery located under BATTERY INFORMATION and scroll down to view usage time and battery consumption by application or components.
