Operation Cell Phones Last Updated 10/01/2015
LG G2 LS980 DIRECT ANDROID BEAM

When Direct/Android Beam is turned on, you can beam app content to another NFC-capable device by holding the devices close together. For example, you can beam Browser pages, YouTube videos, contacts, Polaris Office files, and more. Just bring the devices together (typically back to back) and then touch your screen. The app determines what gets beamed.

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps > Settings > Share & connect

  2. Tap the Direct/Android Beam switch to turn on.

  3. NFC and Wi-Fi Direct devices are needed.

  4. Turn on Direct/Android Beam on each device.

  5. Select the screen or files to share (e.g. images from the Gallery).

  6. Hold devices together (e.g. back to back).

  7. Tap the screen that you want to send after shrinking the screen. (Each app determines what is sent or received.)

Note: Data that can be shared: browser pages, contacts, YouTube videos, images from the Gallery, music from the Music app, documents from Polaris Office
