Confirm no applications are running in the background. Background tasks may cause significant battery drain, and may impact system stability. The device may appear to have reduced performance when many apps are open. This is due to limited amount of available RAM and is normal behavior for most all devices.

1.

From the Home screen, tap Recent apps button

2.

Swipe left or right to clear an application(s). This frees up available memory.
