LG G FLEX D950 MULTITASKING

The Multitasking menu allows you to enable various useful features used for multitasking.

Slide Aside
Dual Window
Split View


Slide Aside

Allows you to use a three-finger swipe to save running apps to the left or bring them back to the display.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab > Multitasking

  2. Checkmark Slide Aside to enable.

  3. Place three fingers on the screen which you are currently working on and slide the screen to the left. The current screen is saved and you can perform another task.

  4. To re-open the saved screen and continue to use the app, place three fingers on the current screen and slide it to the right.

Note: You can save up to 3 apps at a time using Slide Aside (as shown above).

Dual Window

The Dual Window feature splits the screen to enable multi-tasking, drag and drop interaction, auto-linking and recently used apps.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab > Multitasking

  2. Checkmark Dual Window to enable.

  3. Long press the Back key to split the screen.

  4. Touch or drag an app icon to the desired space.

  5. Now you have Dual windows on one screen.

  •  - Switch two screens.
  •  - Drag to resize split screens.
  •  - Tap to view the apps list, full screen view, or close the apps.

Split View

When you tap a URL link on the full screen, the linked contents are displayed on a split screen.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > General tab > Multitasking

  2. Checkmark Split view to enable.

  3. Tap a URL link. The linked content runs on a split screen similar to the Dual Window feature.

Note: Split view option is grayed out if Dual Window is unchecked.
