LG G2 VS980 ACCESSIBILITY - SYSTEM

Auto-rotate screen allows you to control your device's screen orientation by simply rotating it. The feature makes the smartphone more accessible for vision-impaired users.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Accessibility

  2. Scroll down to Auto-Rotate Screen, then tap the checkmark box  to enable.

Note: Auto-rotate screen is enabled by default.

Read passwords reads out each character as entered for PIN or Password from the lock screen. When it is disabled, Talkback will disguise the entry.

Note: Read passwords works in conjunction with TalkBack. Please ensure TalkBack is enabled before using Read passwords.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Accessibility

  2. Scroll down to Read passwords, then tap the checkmark box   to enable.

Power key ends call allows you to end a call simply by touching the Power key.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Accessibility

  2. Scroll down to Power key ends call. Tap the checkmark box  to enable.

Accessibility settings shortcut offers a shortcut to toggle features (TalkBack, Invert color, Universal touch, and Accessibility settings) by triple tapping the Home Button. This feature makes the smartphone more accessible for all impaired users.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Accessibility

  2. Tap Accessibility settings shortcut, then select from Off, Show all, TalkBack, Invert color, Universal touch, and Accessibility settings.

Note: If TalkBack is on, Accessibility settings shortcut cannot be accessed. TalkBalk can be turned off from Apps  > Settings  > Accessibility  , then tap the Talkback switch  to Off

Text-to-speech output provides an audible readout of text, including the contents of text messages, and the Caller ID for incoming calls. The feature makes the smartphone accessible for vision-impaired users.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > Accessibility  > Text-to-speech output.

  2. Choose between Google Text-to-speech Engine or LG TTS+

Note: An application may require the use of a specific text-to-speech engine. Settings such as language can be changed by clicking  after selecting a text-to-speech engine.

  1. Tap the gear  next to your TTS selection to change your language and download additional languages.

Note: Text-to-speech in a language other than English requires data use. Once the language is downloaded, data will no longer be used for this language.
