LG OPTIMUS L70 D321 GESTURES BASICS

Use simple gestures to turn on the screen, answer the phone, silence an incoming call, even snooze an alarm.


You can set the phone to turn the screen on by quickly double-tapping the screen. Double-tap an empty area in the Home screen, Status Bar, and Lock screen to turn the screen off.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > General tab  > Gestures

  2. Checkmark  Screen on/off to enable KnockON.

Note: Tap on the center area of the screen. If you tap on the bottom or the top area, the recognition rate may decrease.

During incoming calls or video calls, flip phone to silence incoming calls.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > General tab  > Gestures

  2. Checkmark  Silence incoming calls to silence an incoming call by flipping your phone over.

Note: Answer Me works best when the phone is on a flat surface or with the screen directly facing you. The phone detects movement and motion as you bring the device to your ear. If the proximity sensor is covered or you answer from a non-standard position, it may not work properly.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > General tab  > Gestures

  2. Checkmark  Snooze or turn off alarm to snooze or turn off alarm by flipping your phone over.

  3. Checkmark  Pause video to pause video by flipping your phone over.

  4. Tap Help to see a help guide of the different Gesture settings.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps  > Settings  > General tab  > Gestures

  2. Tap Motion sensor calibration > Calibrate sensor to improve the accuracy of the tilt and speed of the sensor.
