LG ANDROID GETTING STARTED

The new LG ANDROID™ includes a ground breaking camera capable of taking amazing pictures even in low ligh, a beutifull 5.5" IPS Quantum Display and runs the latest version of Android™ 5.1 Lollipop. The LG ANDROID is equiped with a 16MP f/1.8 Aperture Rear Camera and 8MP f/2.0 Aperture Front Facing Camera. For answers to frequently asked questions about the camera click here.

You can quickly access the camera by pressing the Volume Down key twice when screen is locked or off.

To access the camera from the Home screen, tap Apps  > Camera

The Email application supports the following acount types: Microsoft Exchange, Gmail, and other accounts. For more help on setting up email click here.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps ICON > Settings ICON > General tab > Accounts & sync ICON

  2. Tap Add account at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap Email ICON > Other.

  4. Enter the full email address and password for the account, and then select Next.

  5. After your device connects to the server, you will be able to set you Account name and Your name (name shown when someone receives an email from your device).

  6. Tap Done to finish setup.

Use a USB cable to transfer music, pictures, and other files from your device to a computer and vice versa. This connection uses the MTP protocol, which is supported by most recent versions of Windows, but not by Mac OS X. For file transfer to Mac OS X, you use the free Android File Transfer application. For more detailed instructions (including transfering files with a Mac) click here.

  1. Connect your device to a PC using a MicroUSB cable (you may use the cable attached to your LG charger).

  2. Once connected, you may be prompted on your device to select a USB connection type. Select Media sync (MTP).

  3. On the PC, open My computer/Computer > [Your device name].

  4. Right click on the file to be transfered, then select Copy.

  5. Select a location on the PC to save the file. Right click your mouse in that location and select Paste to save the backup file to your PC.
