Remote Control Operation - TV - Remote Control

Depending upon the model of your LG TV, the home screen may look different depending upon the operating system platform.


GET TO KNOW YOUR REMOTE

Click the highlighted buttons on the remote to get familiar with each function.

Power

Smart Home: Press to access the LG Smart Home dashboard. Or, hold it down to access your most recently used apps, as well as any notifications.

Back button: Takes you to the previous screen.

Wheel/OK: Scroll or press to select any item.

Navigation Arrows: Fast-track through menus and options.

Exit to Live: Switches amongst Antenna and other inputs.

Voice Search: Press to to activate Voice Search.*

Volume

Channel

1/2/3/Q. Menu: Accesses the Universal Control. Accesses the Quick Menu.

3D Button: Activates 2D-to-3D conversion mode and other 3D options.**

Mute: Mutes all sound.


*Voice Search is only available on LG TVs with Dual Processors. For all other TVs, you will perform searches manually with your remote.
**3D options are only available on LG 3D TVs.

Power

Input: Changes the input source. Hold down for a list of input sources.

Number Buttons: Enters numbers. Use - (Dash) to enter the dash for HD channels, i.e. 2-2.

List: Access the saved channels list.

Info: Want to know what you're watching? This displays the channel information at the bottom of the screen.

Volume: Adjusts the volume level.

Mute: Mutes all sounds. Hold to enable the VD function. This key can also enable SAP (Secondary Audio Program).

Smart Home: Press to access the LG Smart Home dashboard. Or, hold it down to access your most recently used apps, as well as any notifications.

Channel: Scrolls through the saved channels.

Back button: Takes you to the previous screen.

Exit: Clears all on-screen displays and returns to the current program.

Navigation Arrows: Fast-track through menus and options.

1/2/3/Q. Menu: Accesses the Universal Control. Accesses the Quick Menu.

Screen Remote: Displays the On-Screen Remote.

3D Button: Activates 2D-to-3D conversion mode and other 3D options.**

Caption: Activates or deactivates the subtitles.

Color Buttons: Access special functions in some menus.

Depending on the model of Netcast TV you own,
there are a few possible remotes.

Back button: Takes you to the previous screen.
