Does LG warranty its own products?

I called the support number twice and two separate reps told me to contact the merchant the sold the glasses for warranty replacement. The merchant is not going to be able to update the Firmware and I doubt they would be able to get a 0.84 replacement from LG. Firmware version 0.83 is flawed and the glasses turn off in 10 minutes. 0.84 the new version. This is clearly a defect in craftsmanship. I am not getting support for this product from LG. LG continues to state this is the first they have heard of the problem.

How should I proceed? Return the entire Home Theater Set (60" TV-3D Blue-Ray - 2 Pair of glases) over a a firmware update?

We apologize for the frustration, and perhaps incorrect information received. Each LG product does come with a specific written warranty. We would be happy to assist, according to that warranty.

Answer:
Yes, LG does warrant its products. This is the proper replacement procedure for 3D glasses that were not contained in the package with the 3D Television.

Answer:
Per the Owner's Manual, the average time that the glasses operate is about 40 hours. The glasses will fully charge in about 1 hours 50 minutes. While charging: The LED is red. When charging is complete: The LED is green. If you use a USB cable other the one (8-pin mini USB) supplied with the product, the product may be damaged.
