Answer: 
This is the Energy Savings mode kicking in.
Try turning it OFF.

Press the BLUE HOME key on the hand control.
Then CLICK: PICTURE...
Scroll down and Select: ENERGY SAVER..
Check: the OFF box.

Answer: 
The answer to your question is under the Picture Settings menu. The "Intelligent Sensor" is set to "Auto" and will dim the picture as the light in the room darkens. I had the same problem until I turned it off in the setting. I hope this helps.. ;-)

direction of speakers

I find that the speakers need to be pointed to the front of the unit ,for clarity ..are these directed that way

Replacing our present tv in motorhome. Want a LED but will it withstand being mounted in a motorhome. LCD tv can withstand the motorhome's movements, but is the LED to fragile to be used in a motorhome?
