The menu settings, for this television, do not have features to adjust the over-scan of the image. If this is happening on anything other than a computer feed, then the unit will require service to correct the matter. It is recommended to contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to make service arrangements.

What is the Hz for the 32LD400? Is it 50 or 60 Hz?

I live in Budapest, Hungary, and had a 32LD400 shipped to me. The LG company here does not produce this model, and also does not know how the answer to this question. I now need to buy an energy converter in order for the tv not to blow up, since Europe uses double the wattage of electricity than the States. I was told it probably is 50 Hz, but read somewhere that it is 60 Hz. However, a worker in an Electrical products store said that 60 would be too much power and has never heard of a 60 Hz tv.

Any help would be great.

The power requirements, for the 32LD400 television, are specified as AC 100~240V at 50/60 Hz. This is listed in the product specifications on page 46 of your owner’s manual. A copy of this manual can be obtained from the SUPPORT tab on our website at http://www.lg.com/us/tv-audio-video/televisions/LG-lcd-tv-32LD400.jsp. This unit is designed for operation in the United States only. We cannot guarantee proper operation in any other country. The manufacturer’s warranty is only valid within the United States, as is posted in the warranty statement provided with this unit.
