When the screen turns off, the sound is still on. There is no way to change anything on the TV when the screen goes back. The sleep timer is never on so that can not be the reason.

Answer:
Does it go off while watching cable/satellite or a movie?

There is a setting where the TV shuts off automatically if there is nothing being displayed on the screen. So if you are watching a Bluray and the Bluray player grays out because the movie isn't playing and it is just sitting in the menu, the TV will automatically turn off after a short period of time.

Answer:
Has this television had its ON TIMER set to have it turn on? This feature is typically designed to shut the TV off again if no adjustments have been made to the set. Another option might be a setting in the ENERGY SAVING features. If these prove to not be the case, then the TV may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

Answer:
Select Menu > Picture >Picture Mode

Select something other than Intelligent Sensor. Cinema is very nice mode for watching movies and television. I like to game occasionally as well so I have it set to expert user settings where you can customize the display settings.

Also if you hit the energy button on the remote it will allow you to turn off all power saving settings by repeatedly hitting the button until you see the word "Off". Hope this helps.

Answer:
This symptom is normal operation, when the Intelligent Sensor is active. It can automatically adjust the brightness levels according to the brightness of the room. If this is not to your liking, then the feature can be turned off in the ENERGY SAVING mode on the PICTURE MENU. Our offices, in the United States, do not have product information for Canada. In order to obtain such information, it is recommended to check our subsidiary’s website, at http://www.lg.com/ca_en/index.jsp. You may also contact our Canada offices at 1-888-542-2623.

Answer:
The model 32LE5300 is currently listed as a discontinued model. If you can still obtain this model, then that is fine. It can utilize any VESA-Compliant mount with a 200mm x 100mm hole spacing. Our owner’s manual suggests a model LSW100B or LSW100BG. If you wish for a 2011 model, you may find the model 37LV3500 to be similar. It uses a VESA-Compliant mount with a 200mm x 200mm hole spacing. This manual suggests LSW200B or LSW200BG.
