Answer:
I apologize, but no; this television does not have any network connectivity. As such, the adapter will not have a network feature to connect with your network service. To add such features, you might consider connecting a Smart TV Upgrader to your television, such as the SP520. This device can be reviewed on our website at http://www.lg.com/us/blu-ray-player....

32LG40

We have an 32"LG40 TV with built in DVD player and truely love it. As you may know the east coast of the USA has recently been hit with a super storm, especially the south shore of Long Island. With the power shortage and transformers blowing out our 32"LG40 suffered damage along withother possesions. When going online to find out where we could purchase another one we see that it has been discontinued. Is there or is there plans for a replacement of this model of LG TV/DVD combo?

Dvd is stuck in built in drive

My dvd won't play and it is also stuck in the drive. Their is no spinning noise as well, nothing. The Tv works as normal but the dvd is just stuck in there. Is there a way to get it out without unscrewing the whole tv or is that the only way? Thank you!

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this television. It is recommended to unplug this television while holding down the POWER button. Hold this for about 15 seconds. Turn the unit on, and then try to eject the disc again, as this reset may release the disc. If it does not, however, then the drive will require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

We appreciate your interest in this television. The USB/SERVICE ONLY port is designed for calibration work, if required, by a service technician. It has no other purpose. This model does not appear to have any updates available.

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. It is recommended to replace the batteries on the remote control, and then test it on the television. If it still does not respond, it would be recommended to test the remote control using a digital camera or camera phone. Look through the camera view finder while aiming the remote control LED at the camera lens. Press a button. If the remote control is operating, then the control beam will become visible through the camera. If it works, then the TV may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....
