How do I make the black levels/brightness more to my liking?

I've tried the black level settings, turned up and down brightness and contrast, tried all the settings, but I haven't been able to get a good contrast ratio...the blacks are still a little gray. I really love the display otherwise and would like to keep, but part of the reason I bought an LED is for the deep black levels. Any suggestions?

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this television. The only thing we can recommend for settings would be those found in the PICTURE menu of the TV. We would normally suggest the use of the PICTURE WIZARD II function to automatically configure the different settings of the screen. If you have additional questions regarding the settings, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

Answer:
You picture is dark because of several reasons.
1. Your brightness setting is too low.
2. Your backlight setting is too low.
3. Your contrast setting is too high.
4. Your gamma setting is too high or too low.
5. Your color settings are too rich that it darkens the picture.

To remedy all of this you can call Best Buy or similar and as if they can calibrate your television for you and for what cost.

Or if you are able to navigate the settings button/picture and through all of the menus, this will take about 20 minutes, but truly a child that plays video games can do it.

Set your television to the following settings through the setting button and the succeeding menus:

Settings:
Energy Saving: OFF
Picture Mode: isf Expert2
Backlight: 75
Contrast: 80
Brightness: 50
H Sharpness: 40
V Sharpness: 38
