I've had this television for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier. Well, maybe if I got a soundbar, but that's another issue. This was easy to setup, the picture quality is excellent, and I love the automatic brightness adjustment when the room is brighter or dim. Love it,

Totally what we expected from LG
We went to our favorite TV store (Video Only). The 47 inch LG 47LN5400 picture caught our eye. We couldnt be more satisfied. all 5 star rating except for sound which is ok but could be better. Great price great TV for our needs.

Just Okay, Not Great
I recently purchased this TV to replace my aging 26" Vizio and at first I was blown away, but I quickly realized it wasn't all that great once the excitement of having a bigger, newer TV wore off.
The biggest problem I had was with the so called 120Hz. It's NOT a 120Hz TV. This TV uses technology that basically simulates 120Hz and it shows. While gaming or watching sports, the image becomes blurry fast and very irritating. Not to mention that the sound is mediocre at best, it has only 2 HDMI ports, and lacks any Smart or 3D features (it also doesn't connect to the internet).
Overall I'd recommend this TV to the casual television/movie watcher or maybe as a secondary TV, but for anyone looking for a solid main living room TV for gaming or sports should keep on looking.
***UPDATE*** I recently returned this LG and went with the Samsung 46" LED 3D HDTV ($579.99, SKU 8346045) instead. I have to be honest, it's leagues above this LG. The picture quality is so much better, it's a 3D TV, the screen is larger, the sound is better, it can connect to the internet for updates, and while there is still a little blur while gaming or watching sports, it's so much smoother and looks downright amazing. Spend the extra $100, it's worth every penny!!!
