What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsly legs led to destruction of TV I bought the TV 3 months ago. Due to my living situation I couldn't mount it to the wall so I had to use the included legs. Last night the plastic on the legs sheared off and the TV fell forward smashing the screen. Now they want me to run this all over to get to a technician to verify that it wasn't "installed" incorrectly. If they verify that was the case they will "repair" the smashed TV. Worst customer service, terrible engineering. Now I have to replace my brand new TV.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No Bluetooth for wireless headphones I bought LG43” TV but I am having problems connecting my Bose Headphones to listen to TV. I purchase a Bluetooth USB and connected to TV and AV to audio still no sound comes through Headphones after pairing. I can’t understand why a Smart TV can’t pair to wireless headphones with Bluetooth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Size, Audio, and Visual Picture So far we are extremely happy with this product for the prize. It has the best sound that does sound like a surround sound without all the extra equipment. The picture quality is beautiful and bright!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best TV Yet I ordered this online on Black Friday from a big box store. It was delivered in good shape, and worked out of the box. Took awhile to figure out how to set everything up, but not too long. You can search for online instructions, or use the user guides on the TV itself. I love its energy star rating! The color was excellent. So we didn't adjust that. Absolutely love that we can watch Netflix and Amazon shows without hooking up the laptop. You just enter your username and password once. I was hesitant to order a WebOS TV over a traditional one, but I'm so glad I did. We even receive over-the-air channels after running the auto setup, as well as our cable. There are numerous features we have not even tried yet. And there are more TV application options than we'll ever use. The only con is that we have to use two remotes now for cable TV. It's pretty common in most households, I think. One for our cable service and the LG one for sound and muting. It's understandable that you would need the LG remote, however, to use all of the Smart TV's features. If we're not using cable, we don't have to touch its remote. Overall, it's a joy to have this TV. We didn't know what we were missing when we didn't have a Smart TV. We used an HDMI cable or Google Chromecast to connect our laptop to the TV. That works just fine. But if you can afford it, going to a Smart TV is easier and spoils you a little bit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good picture, WebOS is horrible It's a decent tv, nothing really extraordinary but WebOS is such disappointment. People are cord cutting due to vast amount of tv ads and this TV instead providing an app it bombarded you with ads in their menu. Poor decision by LG, lost the trust in this company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV I purchased this TV as an upgrade from the one we previously owned. We wanted a smart TV to be able to utilize Netflix, You Tube, and other great features without having to have extra devices to do so. Easy installation, we switched all our cords to HDMI. Excellent picture quality, easy functions, perfect size. I can't say enough good things about this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ever! I was in the need of purchasing a new television and even though I own other LG products I have never owned a TV. I am soooo pleasantly surprise on what an awesome product LG puts out. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture quality of my new LG 43" HD 4K TV. Highly recommended!

I'm watching 1080p Netflix and the picture is blurry. Can anyone help me with this? Is it normal for the picture to not look so good if the content isn't 4k?

Asked by: Brianjosephsmith820
This TV has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160, it will always play any content that it is presented with at it's native resolution of 3940 x 2160. It has a 4K Upscaling functionality, when presented with a lower resolution, like SDTV (480i) or EDTV/HDTV (480p, 720p or 1080p), it will upscale the content to as close as it can to its native resolution (3840 x 2160) The picture may be grainy because the video content does not have enough information when it has to be up scaled to that higher resolution. ^AC

How much memory does the SMART TV have? I have terrible internet so streaming only works if there is sufficient space to buffer content

Asked by: kozoself
Buffering issues for internet access are not an issue with how much memory the TV has. That is more about if the router and internet speed. Buffering is the amount of pre-loaded data on your Television (and other devices), which loads ahead of a video playback during an online streaming. The extra amount of data that keeps loading at any point when watching an online video stream ensures that the playback does not suffer from either stopping or pausing momentarily. If this data is not available then video will show signs of starting and stopping intermittently.Buffering usually occurs when the rate of data downloaded from your internet connection is lesser than the rate of video data viewed on your television sets. Also if you are watching HD quality videos on your television with a suffering internet speed then the video will lag. Therefore buffering is an issue related to your internet speed and not your television. ^AC

Does WebOS 3.5 allow recording from over air antenna? And if so, does it allow scheduling of recording in advance? Does it provide an over-air guide?

Asked by: StephRCristiano
The 43UJ6300 does not have recording capability. It does have a Viewing Guide that you can use to view programs and the schedule of each program with. You can also view information about the program you are currently watching as well as the focused program information. It displays the information of the broadcasting company. If you connect a set-top box, after connecting the Set-Top Box, you can also view programs and the schedule of the Set-Top Box and use the Magic Remote. To access the guide, press the home button on your remote and start the Guide app. ^AC
