We appreciate your interest in this television. Our documentation does not make any recommendations for “breaking in” this unit. To do so would be your personal preference, as would the use of the Orbiting feature.

Answer:
The “BEST” setting for the picture being viewed on this television can vary according to your own personal preferences. However, the simplest method for adjusting this unit would be to use the PICTURE WIZARD feature. This will automatically calibrate the screen and adjust the image quality.
