Won't come on, not even 2yrs old
TV had a good picture at night. Too much ambient light during day. Won't come on now. Turns self off and on. Not sure it's worth the $300-500 repair costs that I am finding on-line that others have paid for same problem. As this seems to be an example of LG TV quality,LG won't be on any of my shopping lists.

POOR RELIABILITY
After only 2 years of service, the display panel crashed and the TV had to be replaced - LG should be greatly disappointed at the reliability of this set - NO WONDER THEY DISCONTINUED THIS MODEL.

Very disappointed
We have had our television for a year and a half. We loved the picture and the TV, but we are now having issues. The TV just shuts off when you turn it on. From what I have seen online this is a common issue. Of course, LG only offers a year warranty. We have several other plasma TV's in our house by other manufacturers and have not had issues. I will not purchase another LG television

Better than ANY LCD/LED/Plasma that I have seen
I work in the IT field and my previous TVs have all been samsungs...I am now an LG convert. I studied specs, reviews, prices, etc. of just about all 50+ inch LEDs, LCDs, and Plasmas and looked at dozens side by side in the store, this one beats them all. Price, picture quality, HDMI inputs, etc. hands down, it's a no brainer to buy this tv. In fact if I had the money I would have bought two, it's that good.
