Average LED TV
Pros: Good price, nice features, low power consumption, is very light, easy to use.
Cons: noticeable backlight leaking, no professional setting options, no sync vertical/horizontal adjustment or at less auto adjust pattern, lifeless colors, poor contrast adjustment, the sound is hollow, very few video inputs (only 1 composite and 3hdmi), some artifacts in 3D mode.

Great value for the money
The LG LA6200 is great for movies. It can make shows look like home movies with actual skin color and tone. I would not recommend this tv for games and sports in 3D. For them you need a faster refresh rate like 240hz. 3D cuts the refresh rate in half for each eye. It makes sporting events and especially gaming slow and jumpy. With a magic remote using the internet is easy and fast.

I spent countless hours online researching and comparing tv after tv, every brand on the market. Went to the big name electronics stores and compared them all in person, and when I saw the 55LA6205 on display I knew the search was over. I compared the color vibrance, pixelation, view angles, frame rates, and contrast of all the tv's and found only ONE tv that was almost exactly twice the price of this one that could compare. And it was a 1080p plasma.
When I got this tv home, fine tuned the color, contrast settings and such, then put in a good blu ray... I feel like I've been living under a rock all my life and have never seen tv before! IT'S AMAZING!!! Everyone who's seen the picture is blown away! On top this is the 3D feature. MUCH better than you may have seen in theaters, everyone has said they feel like they could reach out and touch the images in front of them, and their CRYSTAL clear.
Another great feature is that the wireless mouse and keyboard from my computer work with this tv! NICE when surfing the internet using the tv's smart features. Also downloaded the free app so I can use my Android phone as a second remote. Nice.
The BAD: The sound! I've tried every setting available in the menus. Cable, xbox, and Blu ray as sources, yet this thing consistently sounds worse than a $2 dollar hand held AM radio from 1930. SERIOUSLY, the speakers in this tv are hands down the worst I've ever heard on ANY electrical device. Ever! TERRIBLE.
Picture quality, and other features what they are, no way do I want to take this tv back. I'll be shopping for a surround sound system tomorrow. If using external speakers doesn't DRAMATICALLY improve the sound... It actually IS so horrible I may be forced to return the tv. :(
