Rated 5 out of 5 by thelog This product (55LB7200) overall is very good
Pros: Very good color, I like the different picture modes, I think the sound is decent, and it was easy to set up.
Con: The "magic" remote cursor icon (tear drop) is hard to control (might just be me). When your in the web mode and want to enter something, the cursor icon used to point at the on-screen qwerty keyboard is awkward at best and at times very frustrating. I believe some of the sets come with a remote with a keyboard on the reverse side of the remote control. This, I believe, would be a plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Harleyrider Great picture/sound and features
This set is remarkable. The picture looks almost 3D. Golf tournaments make it appear like you're right on the course. The sound is incredible! I was expecting the sound quality to be much less due to the thin design but it is so good I don't have to use my Bose surround sound as much. The magic remote is easy to use and there are plenty of apps. that come pre-loaded. You can download others as needed easily. This is a 3D set and when we watched a 3D movie to check it out, it was just like being at the theater. Friends can hardly believe how GREAT the picture quality is. I would highly recommend LG.

Rated 4 out of 5 by tamlev Pretty nice TV
We bought this to replace a Samsung, the picture quality is nice even on an angle, the Web OS is a nice feature, the only drawback for me is the apps available for this TV, but I am hoping more and more will become available. The Sound is not the greatest but that is not surprising, overall we are pleased with this TV and would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by uncle Buck Great Picture
The best picture we have ever had in a TV. Friends and family have all commented on how great the picture is and they will look at the LG products when they need a TV..
Our only issue is..... a better user manual!!! This was and is still very hard unit to get set up with all the great features.. We still find using the remote a bit difficult and there is no good reading or simple guide.. Other than that we are saving up for another one for up stairs... Keep up the good work...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Thrifty Shpper Great picture for the price
We bought our Smart TV through a local dealer, Pierrats. This TV was advertised less than what's found on LG website. The quality is excellent and we are happy with this Smart TV.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jackie45 Good Picture
The TV has a great picture and was easy to set up.
However, after only two months, I started having problems. The picture was in semi-slow motion. After being on hold for awhile and the technician trying to understand what it was doing and me trying to understand his accent, I had to reset the TV. This worked and I was happy, although having problems at only two months had me concerned.
So another two months go by and the screen goes black. There is still sound, but no picture. So instead of having to deal with a technician, I reset the TV again. This fixed the problem, but am still concerned that I'm having problems and it is only 5 months old.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Marchhare Great picture - overall a good smart TV
Overall I really like this TV. The picture is crisp and beautiful. The design is really nice - minimal bezel and good looking stand. The smart TV aspect of it is pretty decent. And the 3D function works great - my family absolutely loves it.
My knocks against this TV are relatively minor and won't affect most people. A real annoyance to my wife is that there is no quick way to adjust the picture. You have to go to the home menu, click settings, click picture, click adjust and then you can adjust contrast, brightness, etc. There's a lag between each click so just getting to the point you can adjust the picture can take 10 seconds or so.
That leads to the next knock - many operations are slow - especially after turning on the TV. Switching inputs, changing settings, starting Amazon or Netflix all take time. It seems like the TV has an underpowered processor. I would like things to be snappy - but they're not. At best they're reasonable but at times very slow.
The user interface is pretty good. There's not enough of an explanation for some of the settings. Even going to the online guide doesn't help a lot. And at times it's not clear when a setting is enabled or why it's not available in the current mode. Some polish is needed here.
I've also experienced the picture stutter that other users have mentioned. It can be cleared up by playing with the settings. It would be helpful if there were some default profiles for the types of devices connected to the TV that would come with reasonable settings to avoid such problems.
I know I've gone on about a lot of the negatives I've encountered, but even with them I'd still buy this TV. The major things that I want - great picture and good smart TV functions - are there. So even with the minor annoyances, I'd recommend this TV.
