How do I set up channels on my LG 55LH85?

Following the owner's manual, I connected the cable to the media box and turned it on. I turned on the TV and, after it connected to the media box, I initiated the auto channel search. After 100% complete, it found NO channels.

Using the remote control, I turned off both the media box and TV, turned it back on and tried the same setup. Same result - no channels identified. What am I doing wrong?

We regret the difficulty you have experienced with this television. If the television memory does not retain the channel information, then either a cable box or satellite receiver is in use, or the TV will require service. If the box or receiver is in use, then this situation is normal and channels are meant to be changed on those devices, rather than on the TV. Non-Wireless Setup

First of all, this is a great display. The wireless function works beautifully, but with one exception. In my new setup, all of my devices are located near and underneath the display, thus requiring the Media Box (wireless transmitter) to also be located underneath the display. When occupying the viewing area, any physical movement interferes with the signal and there is noticeable pixel chatter. So, my question is:

Is there any way to connect the Media Box to the display with a cable instead of using it wirelessly?

The Wireless AV Media box has lost power.

The Media Box has lost power therefore, I think, making the TV non-functional. Is this correct or is there a work around. If there is no work around how do I get a functional media box? I appreciate your time. Thank You

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this television. Unfortunately, when the media box is inactive, then the only available operations will be through the HDMI IN 5 on the back of the TV itself. This can support the TV while the Media Receiver is in for repair. It is first recommended to check the POWER CORD to ensure it is still properly operational. If this resolves the matter, that would be wonderful. If this does not resolve the matter, then the unit may require service. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to make proper service arrangements.
