How do I connect to Netflix?

1. I've activated the TV with Netflix.
2. I click on the netflix icon. It says "connecting to Netflix" Then it says "Getting Titles" but then I get
"We're unable to connect you to Netflix. Please try again or visit netflix.com/tvhelp for guidance.
3. I follow the link and it returns me to the LG site where I find no answers.
4. I've checked all of the net connections, router, etc.
5. I can connect to other internet websites via my LG TV like YouTube, Facebook, etc.

Any suggestions?

Answer:
The USB port where the dongle is connected to is probably in the dead spot of the house where it barely receives a consistent signal from yourhub. When downloading Netflix, it requires a stead connection. Attach the dongle with an extenstion cable and move it to the other side of the tv or somewhere other than its original spot. It took me 2 days to trouble shoot this and it's working fine now.

Answer:
It appears that you have performed the setup properly, in relation to the television. This matter appears to be a problem with the Netflix service. Take the TV out of the help search with Netflix, to instead view www.netflix.com/help.

Answer:
This television should have a feature related to LED Local Dimming. As the unit analyses the signal of the video by areas on the screen, it adjusts the backlight in an attempt to improve the contrast ratio. This feature has OFF, LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH settings, which you can adjust. These are in the PICTURE MENU, under PICTURE MODE. This information is on page 83-84 of your owner’s manual.

While using HDMI for Video and Audio source is used there is no signal coming from the (H/P) headphones port. If Component (RGB) is used as the Audio and Video source then there is signal at the (H/P) headphones port.
How do I plug in HDMI as the Video and Audio source and control or hear audio from the Headphone port?

Answer:
When the heaphone jack is used (plugged), the TV speakers are AUTOMATICALLY TURNED OFF and so are most of other settings: surround, clear voice, etc...

So something is not right, I used HDMI at home for my AV devices and the headphone jack works fine.

Answer:
The HDMI audio should be fully compatible with the headphone jack. Check the TV SPEAKER setting in the AUDIO menu. If the TV SPEAKER setting is set to OFF, then audio output would not be directed to the headphones. In this setting, the audio is directed to the Optical port to transmit to a home theater system.

Answer:
Yes, the majority of LG's TV's do come with VGA inputs. To be sure, look on the web at the specifications of the TV and it should tell you the inputs available.

Hope this helps.
