I just got this Tv to work. Between cable problems and other set backs I finally have TV. But I keep getting what looks like a promo for the TV. I did purchase this TV as a floor model. The promo does go away if I hit HOME on the remote put comes back on in a couple of minutes. Thanks for your help. Rich

Answer:
Did you make sure the TV is not in Store Demo mode? You can go to the Option Menu under Settings and choose Mode Setting option, change it to Home Use. If it is already under that mode, please contact LG's Customer Service team at www.lgusa.com/support to troubleshoot the issue.

The 4:3 ratio give a proportional picture that is good, but does not fill the screen in height or width.
The 16:9 aspect ratio makes the people look short and fat (disproportionate) and leaves a 3" black border on top and on the bottom while it extends beyond the side limits a little.
The cinema zoom is worse yet, it really spreeds the picture out and leaves 3" dark edges on top and bottom.
Is there any way to enlage the vertical in the 16:9 mode to give a full heght picture or to enlage the picture in the 4:3 mode to fill the screen? Thank you

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this television. Is the signal being received by an antenna or using cable? If the unit is using cable, would that be with or without a cable box? It seems that there may be a restriction in the video feed that is preventing a full screen viewing experience. It would be difficult to tell without an inspection of the product. Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 for additional information and troubleshooting.

Answer:
Yes, it is possible to use this television as a computer monitor. Once connected with your computer and HDMI cable, set your computer’s DISPLAY SETTINGS to either 1024x768 or 1920x1080 at 60Hz, when in the HDMI-PC input setting.

Connecting Wireless Headphones

When I connect my headphone to de H/P connector, it turns off the sound to my LG Soundbar (connected by optical cable). Is there a way to connect the headphone without cutting out the sound that goes to the optical connector, so I can use both without having to disconnect the headphones?

I apologize, but no; it is the design of this television to deactivate the internal and external speakers whenever headphones are connected. This TV will not be compatible with any wireless headphones.
