Excellent for Picture quality!
I Liked: Excellent Picture, Good Sound (once you set up correctly) and the what's on App. 5 stars on these items and why I recommend.
I did not like: Cannot use shallow mount due to design of cabinet with speakers, Remote hard to use in dark (can't tell the "bumps" apart), Slow to access on screen remote at startup, Few analog Inputs, search app includes long list of paid movies.
I can recommend for picture quality but overall features fall way short of my expectations.

Great TV - Kept this one over Samsung
I bought this TV once and had to return it because it kept shutting itself of for a few seconds then it would come back on, it didn't shut itself off it was more that you lost the picture for a half second to a second. Since this was a new TV I brought it back rather than deal with that later on. Since I was bringing it back I thought I would try the Samsung since that was what I really wanted. After trying the Samsung I found the Samsung picture to be much worse than the LG, the Samsung had a ton of ghosting and if you looked at it from the side the "cloudiness" over the screen was horrible. It was like a white haze over the whole screen. I did not see this with the LG AT ALL!
So, I went back and tried my luck with the LG again and this one was perfect it wasn't losing the picture like the 1st one I bought. The TV is great, the picture is outstanding and no cloudiness like the Samsung. Features are great from what I've used so far and there is a ton I haven't used yet. This TV plays anything you throw at it - I plugged in a video camera, external USB drives, USB thumb drives. It picks everything right up and starts playing the content. 3D is good too not that I will use that much. I only paid $1500.00 for it so I think it's a great TV for the money.
The bad is the glare is terrible, tough to watch if you have a window on the screen you can't watch the TV. The remote also takes some getting used to. In some ways it's good but in other it's frustrating... to change input you need to get the cursor on the screen, then go to setting, then pick input, then pick what you want to watch. It's kind of a pain! There should just be an input button on the remote that brings up the inputs. Same thing just to get to the settings, eventually I wont need the settings button much but since this is new I've been playing around with the picture a lot and need to go into the setting all the time. Your either going to love or hate the remote. The speak recognition is cool thought.
Overall it's a great TV.

Not Smart Enough
Screen Quality is good. It is very realistic. The design of product is sleek and looks great when you hang it on the wall.
However, smart feature is very poor. The web browser is not fully fuctional. It is very slow and so many errors appear in many sites. Many live streaming video is not supported. I have to connect other device to the TV to watch something through web browser. My friend's different brand smart TV works much fast and web browser is fully fuctional in every site.
The apps are useless, even youtube is very slow so never want to use it. Since smart function does not work well, I shouldn't have spent extra mony to buy this smart TV
