Wii hook up

I attempted to hook my Wii up to the television today using the adaptors that came with it. I could see the video feed but it was in black and white and I had no audio at all. I had all three of the yellow, white, and red cords connected correctly and had placed it in the composite feed. This is exactly where I had my dvd/vcr player hooked up and it works fine. What else should I do?

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this matter. The three cables from the game system will need to connect to the appropriate adapter cable, which should connect to the single YELLOW plug on the TV. Your description suggests that the connection may have been made to the GREEN plug.

We just discussed this on an LM7200 avsforum, take a magnifying glass and look at the pixels, if they are chevron shaped, it's an IPS Panel.

Can this model send other hdmi sources out on arc

I want to plug Xbox into 2nd hdmi port & send audio back to receiver over arc. Can this model send out other hdmi ports audio, or only its own internal web apps?

Hooked up right but I can't get it to work.
(arc on in receiver, arc on in tv, reciever on right input, cable plugged into arc hdmi connections, cable supports 3d, so that's not the issue)

any help?

Answer:
Hello Gothica,

From what you said in the first portion it sounds as if you have the HDMI cable connected to HDMI 2 which does not support ARC (Audio Return Channel). Only HDMI 1 supports ARC so in order for it to work you need the cable connected to HDMI 1 to your receiver and enable it in the sound settings. From there it will replace the alternative audio out, which, in this TV, is the digital optical.

ARC, again, just allows you to use the HDMI cable to output the audio to an external device. If you have everything set up correctly, enable ARC then go into your INPUT LIST and select "External Speaker" from the selection box underneath the preview.

After you do that you should be all set. Good Luck.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this television and its features. Once the ARC feature has been activated in the menu screen of the television, it is designed to act just like the OPTICAL Audio Output jack. Your other devices, connected to the television, should also be able to send out their audio signals through the HDMI1 ARC track. If it is still not operating properly, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to troubleshoot the matter.

We just ordered the 60LM7200. On what side is the HDMI, and power? Are all the HDMI's on one side or in the middle. I can't find a picture of the back.

Answer:
Hello Mommy2,

The connections are all on the left side of the television. looking at it from the front.

All of the ports are on the left side. The USB and HDMI ports are facing outward on the left side away from center of the TV and the rest of the connections face downward. The power cord is more right-center of the television.

I included a partial image of the back of my TV where the connections are.

I hope this helped. Congratulations on your new televison!

Answer:
Pwr comes directly from the middle of the panel in back. Everything else is on a panel on the mid left side as you face the unit. HDMI and USB face left, everything else faces down.

Answer:
The only "Audio Out" connection on this set is the Optical Digital Audio Out connection. This works fine for connecting to a stereo set or other audio device that has an Optical In connection. In order to connect to my soundbar, I had to purchase a Digital Audio to Analog converter. Radio Shack sells them. This converter accepts Optical cable input and has female RCA plugs for output. In order to connect your headphones, you would need a patch cable with male RCA connectors and whatever other connector is appropriate with the headset.

Answer:
I apologize, but no; this television has not been designed for compatibility with any wireless headphones, nor any other type of headphones. The only suggestions we can make in this matter would be to connect the TV to a Home Theater System, and then connect your wireless headphones to the Home Theater System instead of the TV.
