Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing TV! We just purchased this TV a few days ago and it is absolutely stellar! This was our first 4k/smart TV (so why not start at the top end, right?). This thing up-scales even regular HD programming to amazing levels. The quality of the Dolby Vision has spoiled me forever now. Unbelievable colors and blacks! The magic remote and voice command is just a bonus. So many features!

what is the screen size stand to top of the TV.from of the 55"? Mainly interested the height

Asked by: Beauregard
On its product information page on our site in its specifications, the Wall Mount (W x H x D) dimensions given for this LG B7A OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55B7A of 48.4" x 27.9" x 1.9" are just for the TV without the stand. That means the TV has a height of 27.9". The W Stand (W x H x D) dimensions of 48.4" x 29.9" x 8.9" are the dimensions for the TV when the pedestal stand is attached. In other words, the stand will raise the TV by 2" (i.e the difference between 29.9" and 27.9")...^IFV

Why aren't your screen refresh rates included in the tech sheets?  What are they in the 55b7p

Asked by: lostokie
Refresh rate is an LCD/ LED LCD specification and does not apply to the LG B7 OLED 4K HDR Smart TV - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # OLED55B7P or other OLEDs which is why it is not included in the specification sheets. OLEDs, like Plasma TVs before them are an emissive technology and do not suffer from motion blur. Each pixel in the OLEDs has only two states: on and off and create levels of brightness by flashing more or less often Refresh rate is how often the TV shows a new image. Anything above 60Hz is entirely the invention of the TV itself. All modern video is either 24 frames per second (movies and most TV shows), 60 fields per second (1080i video), or 60 frames per second (720p video). Higher refresh rates are used to increase apparent motion resolution with LCDs...^IFV
