Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful Picture, having problems already I have had this TV for almost 3 months now, so, I now can give a reasonable review. The picture is beautiful; the best I have ever seen on a TV, including plasma. The dark vs not dark contrast is so vivid, it makes me want to watch certain scenes over and over again (the black Charger John Wick is given looks incredible). The apps are ok; I wish it was easier to load more and some of the ones there don't appear to be the full version (Amazon Prime for example; I can't get Amazon music to show on the TV's version. I have to switch to my playstation or the Amazon Fire to play the music. Also, no backlit remote? I have to constantly turn on the lights to see which button to push. Seriously? I am starting to have problems with the HDMI connections. About 2 weeks ago, the Fire stopped showing on the TV. I thought it was the Fire. I unplugged it and replugged it several times before it would show. The screen then would get snowy and go away. I then got the "no signal" prompt. I changed HDMI slots to no avail. Thought I would have to get a new Fire. A few days later, the PlayStation did the same thing. I knew nothing was wrong with that. A day or so later, my brand new OPPO 4K DVD player had the same thing happen. Dang! I was hoping that was a bad couple days so, I waited. Yesterday (Oct 6, 2017), it happened again with the OPPO. So, I am going to be giving LG a call first thing Monday morning. I may update this after that conversation. On the upside again, the TV itself is darned beautiful, even when it is off. I have it wall mounted; which was an adventure in itself; the Geek Squad apparently had never wall mounted one of these before. The LG rep said they had never had one wall mounted, either. Took them several hours to get that done. I think I would, and I want to recommend this; I will have to see what LG does about this problem before I can be more definitive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular viewing This picture is so crisp it is almost unbelievable; and the color is so true to life. This is the most AWESOME television on the market; no other television even compares!!! And because it is also a smart TV it has almost endless features that allow you view in so many different formats. The only limit to this TV is your imagination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Black Level Ratio Put it this way, when we are watching a movie at night and the movie fades to black, the TV disappears. We cannot see the border of the screen. That's how excellent the black level is. This in turn creates the sharpest contrast and richest color. Oh and by the way, it's basically a thin piece of glass.

Can you wall mount the oled77G7P? How

Asked by: Dmp1
The OLED77G7P is really only designed to be used with the LG OTW630B wall mount. I have mounted 2 for work and ran into this issue both times because the client wasn't sold the mount. The way the base is secured for mounting requires the included security clips which double as the mounting points for this specific mount. To use another mount, you cannot use the LG provided security clips and you will have to rely on the mounting arms to keep the base in place which would require long M8 screws for the upper holes and spacers to account for the offset that would normally be addressed by the supplied security clips. The base for the 65" secures a little differently and will therefore work with most VESA mounts.

Can the OLED65G7P be wall mounted without the attached base? I have the unit and based mounted to my wall with the screen sitting out away from the wall. I would prefer to leave the base on a console table and the screen mounted against the wall.

I am sorry but you can not separate these pieces on this unit. ^AC

Does LG update webOS when new one comes out?

Asked by: Ykaya
All 2015 LG Smart TVs used the webOS 2.0 platform, all the 2016 Smart TV used the webOS 3.0 platform and currently, all the 2017 Smart TVs use the webOS 3.5 platform. New TVs typically come out with a newer version of webOS and there aren't any firmware upgrades available that upgrade previous models to a newer version of the webOS platform...^IFV

I wanna know about th input lag how much is it's important question answer please .. and which tv is the pest for faster games .. thank u

Asked by: Mansour
Regrettably, we do not have a specification for the Input Lag for the LG SIGNATURE OLED TV G - 4K HDR Smart TV - 65" Class (64.5 Diag), Model # OLED65G7P or any of our TVs. It is not an official TV specification because it depends on two varying factors: the type of source and the settings of the television. The easiest way you can measure it is by connecting a computer to the TV and displaying the same timer on both screens. Then, if you take a picture of both screens, the time difference will be your input lag. This is, however, an approximation, because your computer does not necessarily output both signals at the same time. It will also vary depending on which Input Lag Testing Method is used. Input lag only matters for playing video games, either on a console or on a PC. There are online sites that test TVs and publish which method was used to test the TV and their results. They will test TVs at 4K @ 60 Hz and at 1080p @ 60 Hz then test those wih HDR...^IFV

All the 2016 OLED TVs except for the B6P series OLEDs supported 3D. That will be the G6P, E6P, and the C6P series OLEDs. The U.S. released models each came with 2 pairs of 3D glasses as included accessories.
