Anything for less work...
Space age device does the work for you. I know it's a vacuum but it makes me smile.

Where is the end of the innovation in home vacuum?
This looks similar to iRobot. I owned both of them so I can compare side by side.
Most amazing part of Hom-Bot is how to find its way.
Hom-Bot takes pictures of ceiling and navigates based upon them. Its paths don't overlap too much.
iRobot moves randomly so it passes too many on certain surface or never cover another.
Basically Hom-Bot is designed not to collide to objects but it happens especially against thin funiture legs., which suggests that probably the ultrasonic sensors have some blind spots.
iRobot just collides randomly to any wall or objects on floors.
Hom-Bot automatically charges itself and returns to the missing area after charged.
iRobot charges itself and stays there.
Hom-Bot skips carpet at the beginning and climbs up to the carpet area(one inch height) after it finishes lower level.
iRobot roams randomly.
Hom-Bot is quieter than iRobot.
Both vacuum doesn't fall off the edge of floor.
Both of them may act funny on any black carpet.
It is funny to chase Hom-Bot but be careful not to waste your time.
Actually I bought three of them: one for my parents, the other for my main lever and the third for the basement.
I love these guys and they make my life easier.

Hombot after one month
Overall pleased with this product. House has two inside cats and the hombot does a good job policing the hardwood floors and keeping the pet dander and other small items picked up. Does a great job on the hard wood, a little less proficient on carpet. Easy to use and understand the controls. Battery life is sufficient to do the house in 3 sections. No issues in the first month of operation

I have been pleasantly surprised with the LG HOM-BOT. Not only does it do exactly what it claimed to do but it does it far better than I expected. It is easy to use, quiet, and a breeze to empty. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
