Answer:
Check the back of the left side of the main agitator head. You should be able to locate a button. This is a reset for the motor in the agitator head. This should be pressed for a reset once any obstructions are removed from the agitator brush.

How do I remove something caught inside vacuum?

Something picked up by the vacuum, probably a screw, is trapped in the lower section. You can hear it flopping around but I can't see how to get to it. Help?

Answer:
My husband used a coat hanger to get a piece of wood that was stuck in our canister. I think he used a fishing hook remover to get a piece of paper stuck there as well.

Answer:
On the back of the vacuum cleaner, at the bottom, there is a location where the hose connects the body of the vacuum to the head of the unit. A picture of it can be seen on page 20 of the owner’s manual. Turn the hose counter-clockwise to separate the components, in order to remove any obstruction or large pieces. You can also check the inlet hose, just behind the agitator brush.

how to fix LG LuvR200 vacuum cleaner with no hose suction

All three filter areas are clean, hose is not blocked. something rattles inside housing. We are not getting suction in the hose. We can hear something open or close making a suction sound in the lower back of the vac. Floor vac works.

I purchased unit in Jan 2012 sent to service in April 2012 for the same problem. Reset button has not resisitance ,Agitator brush will not turn , unable to reset. In april is without vacuum for 3 weeks and same situation again. When I pay this much for a unit, I expect a high quality unit that is worry free which is not the case with the LG Vacuum. When returned for Lg Repair in April unit was missing screws and screws stripped. ( I tried to check the belt) A household with 2 kids and 2 small house pets. I cannot go without a vacuum for weeks!

I have been experiencing the same thing. Unfortunately, LG has us at this point. I am so frustrated with this company and wish I could have my money back.

I am sending mine in for the second time, and I should have sent it in a lot sooner. My brush turns now but there is absolutely no suction at all.

Actually I just take all the filters on mine to my sink and wash them. As long as you are careful, and let them dry thoroughly before you put them back in, it works great!!
